Sustainable OOH: It Works Group informs
The topic of sustainability has been increasingly embraced in the out-of-home market.
Many outdoor advertisers are steadily upgrading their media to be more sustainable. This has already resulted in a wide range of new and innovative ways to make Out of Home sustainable in the long run and thus improve our environment. As strong supporters we have made it our task to compile all relevant supplier information for new sustainability campaigns in one overview.
At industry leaders WallDecaux and Ströer, for example, customers can play out their campaigns in a climate-neutral way at no extra cost.
There are also already sustainable solutions in the giant poster sector. Ströer subsidiary BlowUp Media, for example, uses a transparent poster coating made of titanium dioxide that serves as a catalyst. The giant poster with vertical garden "The Green" in Berlin is also brand new. Both initiatives filter CO2…. (was die halt so machen – bitte ergänzen.)
Outsite Media, also part of the Ströer Group, uses "The Breath," a technology from Italy exclusively licensed for the German out-of-home market.
Since spring 2022, both suppliers have been offering their customers giant posters made from recycled plastic waste, enriched with a proportion of marine plastic.
Whether advertising media with integrated fine dust filter system, posters printed with special ink or green bus shelters: We bundle the information and offers on the topic of sustainability from all providers and place brand messages in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way.
