The finalists of the DOOH Creative Challenge 2023 have been determined: A total of 27 shortlists were awarded. With 52 entries, the still young award, with which IDOOH honors the most creative campaigns for Digital Out of Home, set a new record. The award ceremony will take place on September 13 in Düsseldorf.
We are thrilled to be shortlisted in two categories for this year’s DOOH Creative Challenge 2023!
In collaboration with HEINEKEN and 42Meta GmbH, we extended a Programmatic DOOH campaign into the metaverse for the first time with our all-in-one platform Locatrics®. With our submission “Programmatic DOOH meets Metaverse” we made it to the shortlist in the categories “Innovative Use of DOOH” and “Best Use of Data”!
New submission record
With 52 submissions – 12 more than last year – the still young DCC has set a new record in its third year of existence. “This development – as well as the continued positive sales figures for DOOH in an otherwise declining advertising market – is further confirmation that we have struck a nerve in the communications industry with the DCC,” explains IDOOH CEO Frank Goldberg, who is also jury president. “Digital Out of Home is simply the medium of the times! This was also reflected in the jury session, which was able to take place in presence for the first time: This once again brought a whole new quality to the lively, constructive and for all participants enriching discussions.”
The winners of the DOOH Creative Challenge will be announced at the awards ceremony on September 13, which will take place during the 2nd IDOOH Conference 2023 in Düsseldorf. At this event, the award ceremony participants will also select the winner of the Audience Award, which comes with a cash prize sponsored by the PLAN agency, from all the shortlist placers in a live vote.
We will of course be there live and are already very excited about the result!
